About Sun City Carolina Lakes
Sun City Carolina Lakes is the biggest 55+ community around Charlotte. Del Webb built it between 2005 and 2016, so every home here is a resale. It sits just over the state line in Indian Land, South Carolina, along the Catawba River.
Two community centers anchor it, the Lake House and the Lodge. A public 18-hole golf course winds past ten lakes, and walking trails run through the neighborhoods. It is not gated, and with this many homes you’ll find everything from small villas to larger single-family homes.
