About Cotswold
Where it is: Southeast of Uptown, centered on Randolph Rd. and Sharon Amity Rd. The CSX rail line runs along its eastern edge, and it borders Myers Park, Eastover/Grier Heights and Sherwood Forest.
History: Named for the Cotswolds region of England. Cotswold Mall opened in 1963 as one of Charlotte’s first suburban malls and became an open-air center in the early 2000s.
