Where it is: South Charlotte, bounded by South Boulevard, East Woodlawn Road and Park Road, reaching just past Tyvola Road.
History: Developed in the mid-to-late 1950s as one of Charlotte’s first post-World War II neighborhoods. It was annexed by the city in 1960.
